Good quality for the price!, May 12, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sage Futon Cover (Full Size) So I had my doubts when ordering this product: no customer reviews, no images, would it fit my 8" spring futon mattrees, good price but would that match with the quality? I decided to gamble and go for it, and return it if I didn't like it!
First of all, the color is EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE TILE SAMPLE ABOVE, phew what a relief! THe material is a brush cotton twill, soft yet feels pretty sturdy and durable.
As for the cover fitting over the mattress, I have an 8" mattress and it was pretty easy to put on without help. The zipper for the cover seems to be well constructed and zipped around 3/4 of the futon, compared to some other covers I've tried, this was a lot easier to put on. I would note: if you have a mattress that is any more than 8" thick--try something else. Again, my mattress fit in nicely, but there is no spare room (which is great because it isn't baggy!).
The product was ordered Friday afternoon and arrived Tuesday morning--not too shabby!

Couldn't get rid of strong smell, October 7, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sage Futon Cover (Full Size) This futon cover looked alright -- the color was a bit muddier than I expected. It would have worked fine, except that it had a strong smell (chemical smell?) that I couldn't get rid of after several washings. So it goes in the next garage sale. The label says made in China, and this is NOT a product for individuals sensitive to smells or chemicals.
Not true to color swatch, March 10, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sage Futon Cover (Full Size) The cover appears to be good quality, but I did not even take it out of the package because the color is completely different than the color shown. The "sage" cover I received was really a very slightly olive toned khaki. But really just regular old beige-y khaki.
