Padding Buckles In Large Bulges When Positioned As Couch, December 24, 2011 By HJW "o8Heather8o" (The High Desert...) - See all my reviews This review is from: Dorel 8-inch Bonnell Coil Futon Mattress QUEEN (Tan) The inner-spring coils, individually wrapped, work out well for my Serta Athens Espresso Queen Futon Frame The 8" height & inner coils offer nice support on large futons. I don't feel the steel bars underneath it, & it helps to compensate for my somewhat flimsy wire mesh frame. This mattress makes for a nice, springy, cozy couch on my giant futon. Lots of room to stretch out, even with a pet or company. When you curl up for a nap, the soft micro-suede kind of cuddles you back as you nestle in & doze. When I get a cover for mine, I am going to get micro-suede to try to preserve that feeling.
The micro-suede cover that is on it is zippered, but sewn directly to the bed, & it cannot be removed & washed. I definitely recommend getting a cover of your choice for it ASAP, as the mattress' cover is soft but a little thin, &... Read more
