Very comfortable. I bought this futon to replace my old one. WOW what a difference!! The mattress started to fluff up immediately, but definitely need at least 24 hrs to inflate to a decent size. A little fluffing up helps too. Holds its form well. Fell asleep on it immediately, so did my dog. I'm not sure if it actually inflated up to 10", but I didn't feel the bars of the frame so that's good enough for me.

I got this mattress a few months ago. I use my futon as a bed because just got out of college & it was a great way to save space, but my mattress was really worn. I wanted one that was thicker & wouldn't wear thin too quickly since I sleep on it every night. So far its super comfy & still great. It arrived really quickly too. A great buy. I'm sleeping so much better.
