ACTUAL MATTRESS NOT AS SHOWN IN PHOTO, June 5, 2010 By MUSIC MITCH (Brooklyn, NY) - See all my reviews This review is from: Contour Coil Premier 8000 (Kitchen) For one, the mattress picture is not accurate. It is misleading. If the actual mattress looked like that as in this photo, it would be thin and the springs would eventually come through easily. It's a poor photo - it don't really exist. You simply have a cotton-poly top which is 70% cotton and 30% polyester (which is thicker than what you see in this photo) and some kind of spring board protector on top and bottom of mattress. It says so right on the mattress tag when you receive it. And looking inside the mattress, there's no sold layers like shown in this photo. There are small bits of cotton balls stuffed into this mattress. Which shows it is not compressed properly. A good mattress inside is matted together. This is poor construction and I doubt it will last.
The mattress is medium firm, but sags a bit in the middle when sleeping on it - which is your back. It is not that comfortable for sleeping night after night. But it does fold easily into a coach and is fairly... Read more

It has a tendency to pucker and bulge on the fold, making it look frumpy and uncomfortable, but that's the biggest con. It's perfectly competent as a guest bed, but I'm not sure how it would hold up to constant use.
